I spent a total of 16 years in the Marines, settling in Central Indiana. After 331, I went to 223, then Recruiting duty. After that hell, I went to 2nd LAR Bn. and finally 2/6 where I did my last float. I got out in 2001, stayed in the Reserves, then was mobilized for OEF/OIF, spending the next two years as the Log O/Chief for HqBn, 4th MARDIV. I now work as an Industrial Radiographer, NDT, in Texas. I still plan to finish my degree in Psychology and eventually plan to work in some sort of counselling capacity and focus my work with Veterans. I have a beautiful wife named Amy and a mess of wonderful kids. Life is good!

AMO (1/85-1/86), XO (1/86-1/87), Belleau Wood Detachment (1/87-6/87). I reside in Phoenix, AZ.

I arrived to the Hydraulics shop in December of 1989 and served as a Hyd tech until the decommission in 1992.    At that point I was transferred to MCAS Yuma where I completed the remainder of my enlistment and left in 1994.  I then headed back to the great northeast only to stay for a couple of years and then it was back to Arizona where I currently reside in Phoenix.  I have been here for about 10 years now and have a wife and 3 dogs.  Since living here I had taking up ATV racing where as chance would have it I ran into Dan Fann racing in the same organization.  I have since given up on that due to numerous broken bones and decided I was suited for something with a roll cage.  Here’s a link TazCar at Glamis.  At the same time, I turned the woodworking hobby I have had for years into a side business where, with any luck, I can go fulltime someday in the futureJ R Jones Woodworks

I was the GSE NCOIC from the time Sgt McKie left until I left to become a GSE instructor in Millington,TN.  I spent time in the tool room and out in powerline. My time in 331 was the best of my career. I went every where from CAX to Japan to Turkey. I checked out of 331 on Aug 1. We found out we won Marine Attack Squadron of the year a week later. I got out of the Marine Corps in Oct 93. I had a hard time leaving the squadron after I found out you guys were leaving for the Gulf War, but ironically, I was an instructor for 3 Marines we sent from A school to the USS Nassau. I talked to them about the Corps' greatest Harrier squadron and the ship they were going to and they felt better about getting orders to the Gulf. The last time I say Cpl Day was when you guys got back, he came to see me in Millington and told me about the Gulf.

Wierzbowski, Anthony (Ski) - S-2
After the deactivation, I was trapped at G-2 for about a year and a half and then made the mistake of leaving the Marine Corps for eight years.  I was an electronic technician for Konica and Kodak; it bored me and I decided to come back, no matter what the loss.  I came back in 2002, as a Corporal, in time to get into a unit destined for OIF, but had to come back as a comm guy. (This is when I ran into Koza at the liquor store, of all places, in 29 Palms.)  Two years later I managed to escape, get back into the Intel field, work my way to VMA-542 and then VMA-231, where I was pulled as an Intel Advisor for an Iraqi battalion in Ramadi and then Fallujah.  Upon return, I worked my way to VMA-223, via MAG-14, and then pulled this year for another battalion-level MiTT.  Hopefully I can return in time for a reunion.

Wilson, Allen - Hydraulics
I was in Hydraulics from 1987-1990. I left the Marines-worst mistake of my life (after marrying that blood sucking harridan Meloney)-and moved to WV. I worked for a youth detention facility, then for Western Union, then finally for Ace Hardware (the 2d job I ever loved!). I divorced Meloney in 2006. Got married again in 2007. Tangela (Tangee) my current wife recieved a management position here in Charlotte, NC. So we picked up and moved here in January 2008.
